OmniGuide Inc. is currently in search of a Logistics and Inventory Material Handler who specializes in Laser Medical Equipment (Co2 and Thulium Lasers) to join our growing production team in Billerica, MA.

Job Description:
As a Logistics and Inventory Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and data entry. Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
- Shipping: Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials. Coordinate with carriers for outgoing shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse or production area.
- Quality Control: Perform periodic inventory audits and cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies. Identify and report any quality issues or concerns.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as purchasing, production, and customer service to support overall business operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or inventory management preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to [insert weight limit], and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as required.
