Robotics Sales Associate

In position Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Robotics Sales Associate to join their team in Chandler Arizona.

In-Position Technologies distributes and integrates robotics, vision systems, linear stages, actuators, servo systems, stepper systems, micro positioning systems, gearboxes, conveyor belts, and tslots aluminum extrusion to solve complex machine automation problems.

About the role:
In-Position Technologies is looking for a driven and energetic individual who loves learning about and working with the latest technologies to complement our world class sales team. This role requires a high level of self-motivation, technical aptitude, and strong communication skills. This individual will be responsible for setting up their own appointments with customers, helping them choose which robots and other automation equipment to use and how to best implement those solutions. You will also provide technical training and support, demo product and put together proposals and quotes.

What you’ll do:
  • Call sales leads
  • This individual will be responsible for setting up their own appointments with customers, helping them choose which robots and other automation equipment to use and how to best implement those solutions. 
  • You will also provide technical training and support, demo product and put together proposals and quotes.
  • Put together quotes for customers, i.e., specify complete motion/robot/vision systems.
  • System Sizing & Motor Sizing
  • Support Customer Service
  • Make 10-20 customer visits per week (will not normally require an overnight stay)
  • The SE will be expected to excel in both verbal and written communications.
  • The SE will be expected to generate new business opportunities.
  • Guide the engineering team in the development of integrated systems (be the Voice of the Customer)
  • Work with suppliers to specify devices and products to OEM accounts
  • Use creativity and intuition to arrive at solutions to automation problems
Our ideal candidate:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with Technical emphasis.
  • Engineering or Manufacturing experience.
  • 2 years of Applications Engineering or B2B Sales experience.
  • Familiar with Servo Systems and/or Vision systems.
  • Eligible candidate must be a US citizen or legal US Permanent Resident (Green Card). No immigration sponsorship is provided for this position.

  • Ability to work in a fast pace work environment
  • Comfortable in leading and adapting to change
  • Demonstrable experience of breaking down and resolving challenging technical problems
  • Excellent computer literacy including data analysis, project planning and presentations
