Financial Analyst

Hoyne Savings Bank is currently seeking Financial Analyst to join our team in Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60630

About the Role:
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for the Board of Directors and government agencies. 
What you will do:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned by management.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and the Board of Directors. 
  • Prepare financial and other reports for government agencies. 
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations. 
  • Reconcile loans sold accounts and activity. 
  • Review government agencies used for investments, maintain investment files and post remittances. 
  • Manage the business continuity plan. 
  • Assist with the external audits by serving as liaison to auditors and regulators and preparing documents for review. 
  • Process electronic tax payments. 
  • Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss administration. 
  • Review and update various accounts, transactions and accounting/financial reports. 
  • Perform statistical analysis as directed. 
  • Manage record retention for the bank. 
  • Perform financial reviews of vendors and brokers. 
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules. 
  • Assist Treasurer with technology needs such as installation of computers and review of technology service providers. 
  • Serve as back-up for Back Office Operations clerks and the Back Office Operations Manager and perform related duties as needed. 
Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred 
  • Minimum five years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Knowledge of current accounting, tax, and finance principles and practices

  • Computer skills (Windows Operating System; Microsoft Office; IPS Sendero; Call Report Software and other Bank specific software)
