About the role

Front Desk/Call Center Agent
Veros Biologics LLC is currently seeking an experienced Front Desk/Call Center Agent to join our team in Centennial, Colorado (80112).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
  • Must arrive at time of scheduled shift. Must be flexible to stay until close; some Saturdays required. May be asked to work in other locations as needed for staffing coverage purposes.
  • All patients must be greeted promptly upon their arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
  • All incoming calls must be answered professionally, initiated with the appropriate greeting in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Enter and process new patients and existing patients according to required established processes. All processes must be followed completely.
  • All patients and other staff members must be treated professionally and with respect. Front Desk team is expected to address patient concerns promptly and per established protocols. All potential patient dissatisfaction issues must promptly be reported to the management team, for proper handling.
  • All copayments must be collected before any services are rendered and processed immediately. Additional payment processes must be followed completely by end of shift each day.
  • Patient no-shows must be processed at end of day and marked accordingly.
  • Consistently follow recall protocol to ensure patients are receiving the necessary notices for return visits.
  • Take the lead in ensuring the provider’s schedules are full (scheduling follow up appointments upon patient checking out, conducting recalls, contacting no-show and late cancel patients.)
  • Medical record tasks and scanning.
  • All Front Desk Staff must adhere to the practice Dress Code and handbook policies.
  • Check In patients and watch time to ensure they are not late
  • Daily Alerts/ Alerts for next day
  • Call patients to complete same day registration if not completed.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-year Medical experience.
  • High school or GED required.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Professional, yet friendly attitude with patients, physicians, staff and others.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks as assigned without direct supervision.
