Nurse Practitioner
Veros Biologics LLC is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Centennial, Colorado (80112).
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to evaluate and treat patients and oversee the administration of allergy shots and biologics including infusions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Assists patients with general care, including testing, medication, and treatment.
- Maintains accurate patient records.
- Reacts appropriately and provides treatment when adverse reactions occur.
- Provides quality patient care by demonstrating clinical competence and sound knowledge.
- Provides leadership and guidance to staff.
- Identify and resolve problems by interacting with physicians and other departments regularly.
- Attend seminars and conferences, as needed, and reading appropriate articles, journals, and related material, to maintain knowledge of trends and development in the field.
- Responsible for reporting improperly operating medical equipment and instruments to supervisor.
- Responsible for following OSHA regulations.
- Maintains patient, employee and clinic confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
- 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
- At least 1 year of experience with allergy and immunology preferred
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed to practice in Colorado
- Active DEA license
- BLS/CPR certified
- Must willing to work well with others and be flexible to certain days
Skills and Abilities:
- Professional, yet friendly attitude with patients, physicians, staff and others.
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred
- Able to work in Colorado
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks as assigned without direct supervision.
