Network Infrastructure Lead
An ADP Client, ServerFarm Data Centers is actively seeking for an IT and Network Infrastructure Lead to join their team.
Reports to: Head of Critical Facilities Services – North America
Summary:
Server Farm Critical Facilities Services (CFS) provides two main functions. SFCFS seeks to deliver uninterrupted power and cooling to each data center in the Server Farm portfolio. In addition, CFS supports the Construction and InCommand teams ensuring sites and clients have access to the breadth of Server Farm services.
This level of service requires the Network infrastructure supporting these efforts is managed and maintained at an equivalent level of effort and professionalism.
Key Accountabilities:
• Ownership of internal IT strategy and infrastructure across all Server Farm locations.
• Manage office IT hardware & software team across multiple locations.
• Management Network infrastructure across all Server Farm Data centers.
• Implementation of cybersecurity policy and initiatives, in conjunction with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
• Ownership of internal IP addressing schemes. Ensures all equipment, WAN and LAN configurations are aligned with SF IP addressing standards and practices.
• Ownership of Network infrastructure post project testing and security verification.
• Ownership of SF network infrastructure DR planning and testing.
• Ensure that all Network infrastructure is operated, maintained, and secured to best industry practice(s).
• Ensure all Network infrastructure operates within defined capacity standards.
• Advise and execute Network infrastructure operational standards to ensure consistent approach. Work with peers in Global structure to coordinate processes and align as appropriate.
• Manage Network Infrastructure Change, Incident and Problem process for North America. Ensure this process covers all works and is integrated with similar Global processes.
• Support SF construction team with greenfield and phased expansion projects. Responsibilities include design support, troubleshooting network and comms, support BMS/EPMS vendors and other teams.
• Support InCommand team infrastructure needs, client onboarding, etc. ensuring alignment with SF global support and design standards.
• Ensure site ISPs are providing contracted services in an approved and secure manner.
• Ensure all major and minor project work is designed and installed without impact to service.
Skill Requirements:
• Experience in setting defining and implementing standards and policies for internal IT hardware & software for office-based and remote teams.
• Solid understanding of Cisco ACI.
• Solid understanding of Cisco SD-WAN and SD-Access technologies.
• Understanding of security best practices with network design and firewall rules.
• Understanding of Event Detection & Remediation (EDR) and (preferably) experience with Crowdstrike implementation.
• Expert level knowledge of traditional Cisco routing and switching technologies (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc)
• Experience with Firewalls (Checkpoint, ASA, etc) and Unify/Cisco Wi-Fi solutions.
• Solid Understanding of orchestration and virtual machine configuration and operation (VMWare, Hyper-V, OnApp, Proxmox, etc.)
• Experience with IT systems and their interaction with Network Infrastructure. (Windows, UNIX/Linux, etc.)
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification, 5+ years’ experience supporting networks and IT systems.
