About the role

Order Entry Infinium Pharmacy Technician

An ADP client is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next Order Entry Tech. to join our team in our Fenton, MO 63026 location.

What you’ll do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. 

  • Entering patient’s information & prescription orders
  • Entering vaccination data
  • Customer service (answering phone, contacting physician offices and insurance companies)
  • Printing monthly medical records and/or reports
  • Prescription fulfillment
  • Resolving daily insurance claim rejections
  • Other duties may be assigned by management

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years working as a Pharmacy Technician required, Order entry experience preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification required through Missouri Board of Pharmacy if hired
  • Long Term Care experience preferred, but not required
  • Required education and experience or skillsets required for the role
  • Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word) knowledge required
  • Medical billing experience (of any kind) preferred
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Missouri Pharmacy Tech License required individuals can begin working as long as an application is on file with the Board of Pharmacy

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Sitting for 8-10 hours
  • Having a range of motion from kneeling, to bending over to raising arms above head to retrieve stock
  • Lifting and/or carrying up to 40 lbs.
  • Reading fine and/or small print
  • Working off a computer screen for 8-10 hours a day

Work Status:

  • Full-time
  • Monday-Friday day shift, with rotating Saturday’s
  • Travel – 0%-5% (facility visits may be required on occasion, but not require any overnight stays)

  • Typing and/or Data Entry skills
  • Computer, email and faxing knowledge
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment/self-driven
  • Problem Solving/Root Cause Analysis – Ability to research, identify, and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Customer Service – Ability to approach difficult or emotional customers with empathy; respond promptly to customer needs; follow through on promises and commitments
  • Communication – Ability to listen effectively and provide responses in a clear, professional manner, relay both successes and difficulties with direct management
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Attendance/Punctuality – Must be reliable
