Pharmacy Technician
Infinium Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team full time in Fenton, MO 63026
** Applicant does not need a Pharmacy Technician License prior to applying. Upon hire, simply apply for a Pharmacy Technician license through Missouri Board of Pharmacy. NO TESTING REQUIRED! **
Who we are:
Infinium Pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy dispensing and delivering medications to patients residing within a residential or skilled nursing facility, including intermediate care facilities for mentally disabled, hospice, assisted living facilities, group homes, and other forms of congregate living arrangements.
About the role:
The Pharmacy Technician performs day to day duties under the supervision of the Long-Term Care Supervisor in accordance with established pharmacy principles, policies and procedures and/or law
What you'll do:
- Prescription fulfillment (i.e.., Various packaging, Compounding, IV preparations)
- Staging items for delivery
- First Dose supply fulfillment and management
- Customer service (i.e.., receiving and processing order requests)
- Other duties as needed
Our ideal candidate:
Education and experience
- Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Long term care or Retail Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required
- Pharmacy Technician Certification required through Missouri Board of Pharmacy if hired
Skills and abilities:
- Computer, email, fax and scanning knowledge
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment/self-driven
- Typing and /or data entry skills
Physical Job Requirements:
- Sitting and/or standing for up to 10 hours per day
- Having a range of motion from kneeling, to bending over to raising arms above head to retrieve stock
- Lifting and/or carrying up to 40 lbs.
- Reading fine and/or small print
- Working off a computer screen for up to 10 hours/day
