Las Olas Capital Advisors is currently seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (33301)

What you’ll do:

The Investor Relations position is responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with investors and all stakeholders. The holder of this job reports directly to the COO, and is responsible for creating the appropriate strategy, framework, and tactics, as well as for providing a very compelling investor relations roadmap for all our lines of business. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It also requires the ability to carefully manage relationships outside the company in the investor community. 

Other responsibilities include:
  • Develop investor confidence and belief in the company's vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value
  • Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework
  • Managing our strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
  • Manage investor relationships, including the documentation onboarding process
  • Hyper vigilant monitoring and responses to investors
  • Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team
  • Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing quarterly reports and newsletters to investors
  • Work with COO, compliance consultants and legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date CRM (database or tracker) that reflects Las Olas Capitals investor relationships
  • Accurately and timely track touch points with clients
  • Prepare notes and summary reports outlining clients’ capital positions, investments and capital projections, in advance of client meetings. 
  • Other duties as assigned as the business grows
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, accounting, business administration, finance, or related fields
  • 3 years or more experience with a strong track record of creating positive relations
  • A professional who is also entrepreneurial, and has a client-minded focus
  • Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Has superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring investors and prospects
  • Comfortable learning and understanding SEC regulations specifically around the advertising rule
  • Knowledge of the capital markets is a plus
  • Familiarity with social media, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work and learn various software tools
  • Success in this role requires collaboration, communication, attention to details and vision.
