The role will be part of Prairie Capital Management Group’s Investment Research team, which directly interacts with the firm’s Investment Committee and Managing Directors.
  • Generalist role assisting in the evaluation, selection, and on-going monitoring of investment managers across traditional and alternative strategies.  This includes mutual funds (equity, fixed income), hedge funds and private equity (venture capital, growth, buyout, distressed).
  • Maintaining performance and exposure information related to various investment strategies.   Includes analyzing information received from investment managers.   The position provides a unique opportunity to interact with the top investment managers in the world. 
  • Communicating directly with Senior Research team members and compiling due diligence materials for the firm’s Investment Committee and Managing Directors. 
  • Assisting with financial market and equity research.  
  • Ad hoc investment analysis of existing and prospective investment managers and client portfolios.
Our ideal candidate:
Education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Minimum GPA of 3.5 preferred.  
  • Work experience of 0 to 5 years. Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. 
  • Strong work ethic and interest in financial markets and investing. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to work on multiple projects. 
  • Ability to work independently and effectively on a team.
  • Fully authorized to work in the United States.
