American Omni Trading Company is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Katy, TX 77493.

About the Role:

·         The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain planning and operational analysis; from demand planning (forecasting) to production planning (allocation request / confirmations), container planning (PO breakdown), as well as shipping and distribution. Will assist the Director in reduction of lead time, cost to serve customers, as well as some strategic decisions.

What You’ll Do:

  • ·         Demand Planning & Forecasting created by customer/SKU forecasts to use in Allocation/Production requests
  • ·         Resource (Capacity)/Tooling (Molds) Analysis and recommendations
  • ·         Coordination and communication of all pertinent supply chain information
  • ·         Communication with Suppliers via email and teleconference
  • ·         Perform analysis and create necessary reports
  • ·         Continuous improvement of lead times and processes
  • ·         Advise & Assist on House Account fills and reporting
  • ·         Generate Purchase Orders
  • ·         Apply data and analysis learnings to filter up those learnings and offer recommendations for Supply Chain as well as Logistics activities including, but not limited to:
  • o   Analysis on GRD vs ETD
  • o   Keeping metrics on how far in advance goods are booked
  • o   GRD vs initiated
  • o   Order date vs initiated
  • o   Watching for spikes in ETDs & working with Logistics Manager on feasibility vs what to expect to roll
  • o   Volume loaded each week and monitoring
  • ·         Pull containers assigned by customer each month (at allocation) and analyze volume vs. spacing
  • ·         Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education and Experience

  • ·         Minimum of 2-5 years’ prior supply chain track experience B2B or High Volume Strongly preferred
  • ·         Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • ·         Experience with ERP software (MS 365 preferred)
  • ·         Computer skills required: (Microsoft Office Suite; ERP Software; CSR Software (Sugar or other similar system) Project Management Software)
