About the Role:
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for all healthcare sales activity, execution, documentation, and sales results of the assigned territory.  This responsibility includes developing value-based relationships with C-suite executives and department leadership while also maintaining a high-level of prospecting via cold calls, virtual and onsite meetings, and product evaluations.  The role is also responsible for the implementation and training of Surfacide Helios following the initial sale and will serve as the client’s long-term point of contact. In this role, you will identify and act on sales opportunities for expansion systems and trade-ins, educate and promote Surfacide products and services and maintain client satisfaction, driving an increase in product usage within the existing customer base. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management

  • Develop the sales plan to meet target growth and annual revenue goals of assigned region – manages to and meets or exceeds annual regional quota
  • Lead all sales efforts and responsibilities within the defined region, including strategic accounts, Integrated Delivery Networks 'IDNs' and other key verticals subject to approval.  Develop and execute regional strategies with key strategic partners.
  • Grow value-based relationship with all levels of hospital staff – C-suite executives, clinical and departmental leadership, and front-line technicians.
  • Responsible for consistent outbound prospecting to generate organic, new-logo leads and develop a funnel with new customer deals.  Maintain daily documentation in Outlook and the HubSpot CRM
  • Cross-sell supplemental products within existing customers and new opportunities
  • Present SURFcare and SURFcloud (extended maintenance program) with every new sale and maintain 80% compliance within existing accounts.
  • Lead targeted campaigns and head-to-head demonstrations to convert current users of competitor technology.
  • Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and clients to provide guidance on best practices to sell and implement UV-C Technology. The result should be that Surfacide personnel are recognized as best in the industry for a comprehensive and clinical approach to the implementation of UV-C technology.
  • Become a subject matter expert on UV-C and the Surfacide technology and lead the sales and marketing efforts in a professional manner to achieve desired sales results.
  • Coordinate aspects of system implementation during evaluations and sales installations, while onsite with the customer and project team.  Perform super-user and staff training for implementations and trials
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with existing customers and identify opportunities for additional sales within current client base.
  • Provide feedback, competitive intelligence, and input to help the organization improve and make informed recommendations regarding effective, efficient operations and processes.
  • Attend regional or national tradeshows, association or other meetings or venues for the promotion of Surfacide.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required
  • Regional Travel will be required (75%)
  • Vaccination is required for entry into numerous hospitals and maintaining current vendor credentialing will be a requirement in order to fill the job duties associated with this role.

Experience & Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience preferred in healthcare capital sales, medical devices, SaaS and/or infection prevention
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • You are independent, take ownership over new challenges, and are driven to your metrics
  • You are competitive and proactive
  • You have a positive attitude, passionate about the Surfacide mission, detail oriented but also able to see the big picture
  • You are well-organized with an aptitude in communication, coordination and strategy
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Fixed : $60,000 
  • Variable: Up to 10% of sale in uncapped commission;  total on-target annual commission of >$100,000
