V.T. Mancusi is currently seeking a Customs Entry Writer to join our team in Lawrence, NY 11559.

What You’ll Do:

• ·         Enter and transmit customs entries through ABI, including FDA and other OGA data
• ·         Prepare and send delivery orders to truckers
• ·         Pay terminal fees
• ·         Trouble-shoot entry clearance and pick up issues
• ·         Maintain and update tracking information and data base files
• ·         Foreign Trade Zone processing

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education and Experience

• ·         Minimum of 3-5 years’ prior experience in customs brokerage
• ·         Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Required Skills and Abilities

• ·         Strong organizational skills with constant attention to detail
• ·         Excellent typing skills and strong organizational skills
• ·         Problem solving mindset combined with ability to manage both independent and teamwork
