Warehouse Manager

Demis Product Inc. is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team in Lithonia, Georgia.

About the Job:
Oversees all aspects of shipping, logistics, and warehouse management in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards; receives and stocks incoming equipment, materials, and supplies and prepares shipments.

  • Processes all inbound and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping.
  • Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order.
  • Oversees packing, labeling, product based on established standards.
  • Prepares shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation.
  • Manages scheduling of daily transportation.
  • Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork.
  • Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.
  • Manages material inventory levels utilizing company systems/software
  • Responsible for tracing of missing shipments and cost recovery.
  • Manages and maintains safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area.
  • Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
  • Good working knowledge of FTL, LTL, and Parcel shipping.
  • Experience working with dashboards, programs, and shipping platforms attributed to the different modes of transportation, specifically UPS Worldship, GlobalTranz, and FedEx would be ideal.
  • Has experience working directly with customers discussing shipping options and managing customers
  • Must have a good customer service background and amenable demeanor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience/ Skills:
  • Three to five years related experience or equivalent
  • Has managed teams and similar activities in other businesses
  • Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new warehouse and system inventory ERP systems e.g., Intuitive 
  • Experience with DSV and online order fulfillment
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
