An ADP client is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next Business Development Manager and join us in Louisville, KY 40299 location.

About the Role:

This position will be a key member of the Business Development team and will focus on supporting the growth for our Business Services Division which supports industries such as technology, manufacturing, professional services, retail, and more. The ideal candidate will be a team player and should be motivated by growing the business.

What you’ll do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. 

  • Maintain strong knowledge of our offerings, and articulate our value proposition effectively
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, and pursue deals in line with company strategies
  • Interface with customers during the sales process through presentations and/or demonstrations of our capabilities and by responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Support the creation of pre-sales documents as well as proposals
  • Promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by consulting on business needs
  • Be a brand ambassador and always reflect company values
  • Other duties may be assigned by management

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional services sale, account management, or consulting experience, preferably with national B2B accounts, interacting with senior-level stakeholders
  • Experience with sales planning and sales forecasting, with the ability to drive the full sales cycle from discovery to proposal writing to contract negotiation
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field in Business Management, Master’s degree is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications i.e., Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
  • Well-versed in CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • Travel to client locations, business meeting and industry events required (10-15%)
