Associate Editor

An ADP client is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next Associate Editor to join our team in our Manalapan Township, NJ 07726 location. 

Who We Are:

At Integrated Media Services, content is our passion. We develop exceptional stories and publications surrounding dentistry’s key products and services while working with dental professionals and the leading companies in the dental industry. This content is shared with our readers and followers both digitally and within our award-winning print magazine, Dental Product Shopper, which is published bi-monthly.

About the Role:

The Associate Editor will play a critical role on our content team by interviewing dental professionals (doctors, hygienists, subject matter experts, etc.) and sharing their stories through articles that are both informative and engaging. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion and talent for writing, and an eagerness to become acclimated with the rapidly advancing dental industry.

What you’ll do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. 

Writing several print or digital articles a week for our various platforms.

Conducting daily interviews with dental professionals for content creation

Proofreading/editing a high volume of print and digital content

Working on special digital and print projects as needed

Participating in virtual client meetings

Occasional travel for trade shows/client meetings

Other duties may be assigned by management

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience:

Degree in Journalism, English, or Communications

At least 2 years of professional writing experience

Provide a URL Link(s) to your writing clips or writing samples

Excellent writing and editing skills

Quick comprehension of technical subject matter

Ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure

Strong research skills and willingness to learn new software programs

Familiarity with content marketing practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications i.e., Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

Required Abilities and Skills:

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines

Dependable, great attitude and team player

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Flexibility to work in a changing environment

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
