About the role

An ADP Client is currently seeking a motivated Office Manager to join our team.

What you’ll do:
We are seeking an energetic and responsive individual to join our team in the position of Office Manager.

  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Prepare documents for monthly billing.
  • Prepare and review financial transactions with accounting and executive director.
  • Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, reviewing, and approving supply requisitions, and assigning/monitoring clerical functions.
  • Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
  • Manage social media accounts.
  • Provide direct administrative supports as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, booking travel, maintaining filing system, mailing, and shipping packages, and updating contact database and employee list.
  • Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify and fulfill office supply needs, maintain, and manage vendors, and coordinate food delivery.
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events.
Human resource functions including (but not limited to):
  • Preparing employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Implementing employee benefits programs and informing employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; process benefit claims; evaluate benefit contract bids
  • Designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Retaining historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.

Our ideal candidate:
Education and Experience
  • Associate Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in an office setting
  • 1 year as Office Manager (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong time-management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability
  • Proficient with Office Software: MS Office, Adobe Pro, and finance management programs
