We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer centric Marketing Events Coordinator to join our team!

Marketing Events Coordinator

The Marketing Event Coordinator will engage in day to day responsibilities, training, as well as coordination and support of executing on multiple simultaneous events throughout the US. The Marketing Events Coordinator helps engage and inspire Laryngectomy patients all over the country.

We are looking for an experienced Event coordinator to organize excellent events throughout the US. The purpose of these events is to engage and inspire all of our laryngectomy customers throughout the country. The marketing event coordinator . You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterwards. The goal is to organize unforgettable events that will ensure the morale and community for our clients in our region.
  • Coordinate patient/caregiver and professional events.
  • Assist with site selection, contract review, and negotiation.
  • Coordinate catering services, venue and communication equipment requirements.
  • Plan meetings /events, e.g. requests to send out invitations/materials, follow up on registration and attendance. Coordinate event content, handle client queries and troubleshoot before and on the day of the event.
  • Develop and document local event material and details including topics, timelines, venues, suppliers, vendors, shipping, staffing and budgets.
  • Negotiate and adhere to event budgets.
  • Ensure legal, insurance, health and safety compliance.
  • Evaluate and document post event assessments, including registration and attendance levels.
  • Coordinate with clinical, sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote event registration.

Basic Qualifications for Marketing Event Coordinator
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • COVID Vaccine or reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications for Marketing Event Coordinator
  • BA degree from an accredited university
  • >1 year event planning experience.
  • Certificate in Event Planning preferred

  • Intermediate technical skills and experience with event tools and applications required (i.e. MS Office, SAP/CRM/BI systems, Aventri, WordPress, Microsoft Excel, etc. or equivalents)
  • Basic technical skills and experience with marketing tools and applications preferred (i.e. Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc. or equivalents)
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and proven ability to troubleshoot and seek solutions
  • Ability to work in a team environment a must
  • Empathetic and able to connect to people.
