Production Manager

An ADP client is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next Production Manager and join our team in our Plant City, FL 33566 location.

Nucycle Energy of Tampa, LLC - assists some of America’s largest consumer brands in their sustainability initiatives by repurposing materials previously destined for landfills, while providing a green alternative fuel that is used to replace Coal, pound-for-pound, and BTU-for-BTU in the cement manufacturing industry.

Working Shift:  Looking to FILL the following SHIFT:

Split Shift from Friday & Saturday from 5:15am to 3:30pm AND Sunday & Monday from 1:30pm to 12 Midnight

What You Will Do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff

Ensuring all safety and environmental standards are met within company guidelines.

Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production

Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.

Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations

Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff

Working with Plant manager in setting productivity goals for the manufacturing team

Organize and maintain records and reports related to shipping and receiving, customer service logs and safety records to help track performance data.

Work with the Logistics team to resolve customer concerns relating to transportation and other logistical issues.

Assist with tracking of trailer assets on a real-time basis.

Work assigned shifts, overtime as needed, day shift, mid shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays.

Perform Data Entry:

The position’s goals, objectives and duties will evolve as the business expands.

Primary Responsibilities:

Reviews daily status with the Plant Manager – Ensuring that all efficiencies are met and achieved according to the goals that are set.

Participates in meetings with the General Manager and Operations team regarding new and existing projects.

Trains, monitors, and provide improvement guidance to teams.

Provides accurate reports and information regarding production assignments.

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience:

High school diploma required.

College degree preferred but not required.

At least five+ (5+) years of managerial experience required.

Quality system (LEAN/5S) and managerial training is strongly preferred.

Experience using Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) is required.

OSHA Outreach (10- or 30-hour General Industry) safety training certificates or equal required.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, most importantly Outlook and Excel.

Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful, but not required.

Required Abilities & Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as productions reports, sales reports, operating instructions.

Ability to draft reports and correspondence.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization and to speak effectively before groups of customers.

Ability to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Ability to coach and motivate employees.

Required Physical or Environment Abilities & Skills:

Must be physically able to perform work assigned.

Work will be in an indoor manufacturing facility and outdoors tractability.

The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: heat, noise, vibration, and atmospheric conditions such as dust.

The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing, and sitting.

Company Offers:

The annual salary range is $72k to $75k, commensurate with experience and education.
