Special Education Teacher/ABA Therapist
PRINCETON CHILD DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher/ABA Therapist to join their team in Princeton, New Jersey.
About the Job:
Needed in the Institute’s special education program, an approved private school for students with disabilities. PCDI uses an ABA approach to teach students with autism ages 3-21. Job responsibilities include developing individualized instructional programs for children; providing direct instruction and treatment; collecting observational data on children’s performance; and providing home programming services. Intensive training and administrative support are available. PCDI has been named in The Philadelphia Inquirer's 2021 list of Top Places To Work.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
- 1-3 years’ experience in Applied Behavior Analysis
- New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate preferred but not required
- BCBA certificate preferred but not required
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and oral skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams
- Ability to prioritize and independently follow through on all tasks and projects and to multi-task as needed
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
