Data Analyst
We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in our Raleigh, NC 27513 location.
About the Role:
• The Data Analyst is responsible for using their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions to the organization. Their duties include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on their findings, and monitoring performance metrics to determine business initiatives’ success.
• To be successful in this role, the candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, adaptable to change, able to work independently and will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• We are looking for an individual who can collaborate with various internal teams, manage competing priorities, and have outstanding communication skills.
What You’ll Do:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
• Work with staff to identify opportunities for improvement
• Work with outside consultants/vendors
• Create reports for internal teams and external clients
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
• Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
• Establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
• Structure large data sets to find usable information
• Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
• Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary
• Commission and decommission data sets
• Process confidential data and information according to guidelines
• Help develop reports and analysis
• Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
• Work with internal staff to identify and address needs and requirements
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and analyses; then design, document, and recommend a go-forward path to meet the requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Identify innovative ways to increase internal team satisfaction
• Communicate ideas and viewpoints to senior management
• Act as a liaison between executive team and IT group
• Create monthly progress reports on all projects
Our Ideal Candidate
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required. Master level candidates preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst or related role
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions
• Proven track record managing projects
• Consulting background preferred

• High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale data sets and relational databases
• Knowledge of process design and workflow tools such as Visio
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Outstanding skills with MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
