Magnolia Foods LLC is currently seeking a Production Manager to join our team for our Rialto, CA 92376.

About the Role:

·         The Production Manager responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring goods are produced efficiently, safely and on time within budget. Ensure manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and follow Quality Food Institute and Food Safety Procedures; observe and enforce safety rules and company policies; provide support to production employees; conduct meetings with all production employees based on the training calendar/schedule; maintain communication with all plant departments and demonstrate leadership attributes that foster effective working relationships.

What You’ll Do:

  • Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
  • Summarize customer orders and program order of run per shift, per line.
  • Plan Production Schedules
  • Set productivity goals for the production team
  • Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • Maintain status of lines to run, to be cleaned and communicate to all Departments.
  • Monitor attendance and late arrivals of all personnel.
  • Coordinate with QA product on hold for disposition.
  • Coordinate inventory of Raw and Packaging Materials in Production on a weekly basis.
  • Post finished products produced through AX System.
  • Coordinate operational and safety training sessions.
  • Ensure personnel are taking breaks and lunch according to Labor regulations.
  • Guide leads, coordinator, operators and packers for optimal performance.
  • Dress appropriately and wear all required personal protective equipment assigned.
  • Use lockout/tag out devices and procedures as required.
  • Waste water management.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on department and business needs.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Production Manager within the food manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of the GMP policy is preferable
  • Experience within the consumer products, food and beverage industries preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
