HR Specialist
First Choice Surveying Inc is currently seeking a HR Specialist to join their team in Sanford, Florida.
About the Job:
professional responsible for monitoring all Human Resource functions. They prepare compensation and benefits packages, set up company policies, maintain updated employee records and ensure a healthy workplace by providing HR procedures.
Duties:
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and sorting emails for the HR department
- Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves
- Assist HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration
- Administering health and life insurance programs
- Implementing training and development plans
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
- Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
- Monitor budgets by department
- Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
Education and Experience/ Skills:
- Candidate must be a high school graduate or have an associate degree in HR/related field
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Knowledge of accounting.
- Candidate must have strong communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
- Candidate must be able to quickly resolve people’s problems
- Computer knowledge (downloading applications, setting up email etc.)
- Candidate must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications.
