Driv-Lok INC are currently seeking a motivated Product/Costing Associate to join our team.

What you’ll do:

Support new product implementation from request for quote through production process. Generate custom & key customer quotes. Prepared quote information to be highly accurate and detailed focused.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality personnel to analyze blueprints and technical specifications for process, materials, and performance requirements.
• Work cross functionally to attain material and outside process costs.
• Use ERP system to create costs of material, manufacturing, and outside costs.
• Develop custom and key customer quotes.
• Work with director and outside sales representatives on quoting opportunities.
• Ensure that quotations and supporting documentation are submitted to the customer guidelines.
• Provide support with tracking quoting opportunities within the organization.
• Support other quoting functions within the organization.
• Support quality requirements cross functionally on customer specifications.
• Process engineering change notices when needed.
• Demonstrate a high attention to detail
• Any additional duties as required by business needs.

Our ideal candidate:

Education and Experience

• Minimum Associate Degree preferred or transferable experience in mechanical aptitude
• ERP or Database software experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software systems

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to interpret cost details from suppliers and relate it into our cost structures for quote
• Capability to collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality personnel to analyze blueprints and technical specifications for process, materials, and performance requirements
• Ability to solve practical problems a variety of concrete variables in situations
• Must be flexible in work assignments and be able to work cooperatively as a team member
• Demonstrate respect and courtesy to all internal and external customers
• Ability to work in multiple units of measure and convert specifications
