Customer Service Specialist

Green Light LED is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida (33634).

Job Summary:
The Order Processor/Customer Service Order Specialist is responsible for providing the clients with an outstanding telephone or in-person experience. It requires the right combination of phone skills, multitasking and respect to the client. Often the first point of contact for the clients, this position plays a vital role determining the client’s satisfaction. This position encompasses clerical support to sales and marketing teams as well as working with shipping, production, and warranty teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
  • Responsible for answering multiple phone lines, routing calls to appropriate department, taking customer orders and delivering high-quality customer support and service.
  • Greet visitors and clients as they walk into the office
  • Field customer inquiries to appropriate department.
  • Processing outgoing shipments and mail
  • Assist customers in the absence of Sales Rep
  • Checking Orders
  • Tracking Back Orders and Special Orders
  • Keep calendars and assist with office supply orders
  • Create various forms for effective correspondence, and perform data entry and general administrative tasks, such as scanning and filing of documents
  • May serve refreshments at meetings. Provide support to all departments as needed throughout the office and help ensure smooth operation of the office.
  • Responsible for functions associated with daily office operations, including maintaining office files, maintain daily back up.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area, conference room and other common areas
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in customer service or accounting is preferred.
  • High school or GED.
  • Accounting and accounts receivables experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with a high-volume of incoming calls.
  • Minimum 1 or more years working experience in a high call volume office.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Telephone and customer service skills.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills.
  • The ability to multitask in a technology-driven environment.
  • Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
  • Ability to accurately operate at a fast pace.
  • Good Listening skills.
