Warehouse Associate
Q-railing USA is currently searching for a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team in Tustin, CA 92780.
About the Role:
This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm. The right candidate will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.
What You’ll Do:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Forklift operation, palletizing/crating and operating various floor machines
- Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse
- Process inventory for shipping and receiving
- Work with multiple freight services (ie: UPS and LTL carriers)
- Load/offload pallets and crates of product from delivery trucks
- Sort, organize and maintain inventory in the proper location
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping
- Maintain and update inventory logs and documentation
- Prepare inventory for audits
- Wear safety gear
- Operate heavy machinery and tools (ie: forklifts, pallet jack, saws, drills)
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
- Maintain neat and clean warehouse premises
Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Provides great customer service
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Basic knowledge of inventory software
- Bilingual – English and Spanish – preferred
- Valid driver's license
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Team attitude
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Pays attention to detail
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
